This Privacy Policy explains how P1 Race Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and Online Driver Coaching service. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Information we collect
- Account details — name, email address, and login credentials when you create an account or purchase coaching.
- Order details — what you bought, when, and order status.
- Coaching footage and submissions — driving videos (uploaded files or links), driver name, class, track, and goals you provide. See our Coaching Footage Privacy notice for detail.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited transaction data, not your full card number.
- Technical data — basic logs and, if enabled, privacy-friendly analytics about site usage.
2. How we use it
- To provide the coaching service and deliver your written feedback.
- To manage your account, orders, and course access.
- To send transactional emails (receipts, account and submission notifications).
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
- To improve and secure the website.
3. Service providers we share data with
We use trusted third parties to run the Service. Each handles only the data needed for its function:
- WordPress / our hosting provider — runs the website and stores account and order data.
- Stripe — processes payments securely.
- Rocket.net and H5P — host and deliver course video and interactive lesson content.
- Postmark (and our email tools) — sends transactional and, where you opt in, marketing email.
We do not sell your personal information. Some providers may store data outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it appropriately.
4. Marketing
We only send marketing email if you opt in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (such as receipts) are sent as part of providing the Service.
5. Data retention
We keep account and order records for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal and tax obligations. Coaching footage is retained and deleted as described in our Coaching Footage Privacy notice.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to legal limits. To make a request, contact us through our Contact page.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information. No online service is completely secure, but we work to limit access to your data to what is necessary.
8. Children’s privacy
Because we coach young drivers, accounts and purchases are made by a parent or guardian. We rely on that guardian’s consent for any personal information relating to a minor.

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date shows the current version.
