Your driving footage is the most personal thing you share with us, and footage often features a minor. This notice explains exactly how we handle it. It sits alongside our main Privacy Policy.
What we collect
When you submit footage you give us a video file or a link to one, plus context such as driver name, class, track, and what you want feedback on. A parent or guardian submits on behalf of drivers under 18.
What we use it for
We use your footage only to review the driving and produce your written coaching feedback. That’s it.
What we will not do
- We do not publish, post, or share your footage publicly.
- We do not use your footage in marketing or social media without your explicit, separate written consent.
- We do not sell your footage or pass it to third parties for their own use.
How it is stored
Submissions are stored as private records accessible only to authorised P1 Race Academy coaching staff. Where video is hosted on a streaming provider it is kept on a private, access-controlled basis rather than public links.
How long we keep it
We keep footage only as long as needed to deliver and support your coaching. You can ask us to delete your footage at any time, and we will remove it unless we are required to keep a record for a short period for legal or dispute reasons.
Consent for promotional use
If we ever wanted to feature footage (for example as a coaching example or testimonial), we would ask you first and only proceed with your written agreement. You can decline, and you can withdraw consent later.
