These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the P1 Race Academy website and the Online Driver Coaching service (the “Service”). By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
P1 Race Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides online karting driver coaching, primarily a written video-footage review service for young drivers and their families. You can reach us through our Contact page.
2. Accounts
Buying coaching creates a student account so course access and feedback can be tied to you. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Set your own password after checkout using the link on your order confirmation page or via the My Account page.
3. The coaching service
- You submit driving footage through the submission form, either as an uploaded file or a video link.
- We review the footage and return a written breakdown with prioritised practice focuses.
- Typical turnaround is 3 business days from when we receive usable footage. Unclear, incomplete, or unusable footage may delay this; we will tell you if we need a re-submission.
- Coaching is educational guidance only. It is not a guarantee of results, race outcomes, lap times, or safety. Karting carries inherent risk; you and your guardians remain responsible for on-track decisions and safety.
4. Minors and guardian consent
The Service is aimed at young drivers. If the driver is under 18, a parent or guardian must make the purchase, provide consent, and supervise the account. By submitting footage of a minor you confirm you have the authority to do so.
5. Payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
6. Refunds
Refund and cancellation terms are set out in our Refund Policy and in the terms shown at checkout, and are consistent with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. (Our standalone Refund Policy page is being finalised ahead of public launch.)
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, share your account access, resell coaching content, or upload footage you do not have the rights to share. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
Course materials, written feedback, and site content are our intellectual property and are provided for your personal use. You retain ownership of footage you submit; see our Coaching Footage Privacy notice for how we handle it.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
